James leads Craftwater’s landscape architecture practice, helping transform stormwater infrastructure into parks, habitat, and places people actually want to spend time. His work focuses on climate-resilient landscapes that integrate water, ecology, and recreation across Southern California.

Outside the office, James spends most of his time in the mountains with his family, hiking forest trails, exploring creeks and washes, and keeping up with two adventurous kids.
